Weekly Wrap-Up #9!

I have so many exciting things to share with you all this week! I'm having a HUGE giveaway for the holiday season, I have also released my Angelique products this week, HAED has come out with 3 new Christmas cross stitch designs and I have picked a name for my Candy Cane Witch!

Win a FREE 8x10" Original Commissioned Painting!!

I am so absolutely thrilled to tell you all about a HUGE giveaway that I'm fortunate to be having this month! A very generous person has donated money for me to paint an 8x10" commissioned painting to give away to one of you lucky people! This person wishes to remain anonymous, but if you'd like to thank this person for the opportunity, please leave your comments here and I will make sure they receive them. =)

To Enter - Tell Me Your Favorite Holiday Tradition

To have a chance to win an 8x10" commissioned painting painted by me, Nikki Burnette, simply make a post on my Facebook note here telling me what your favorite holiday tradition is. It doesn't have to be a Christmas tradition. It can be any holiday that you celebrate any time of the year. Please only post one time. Multiple entries will not be counted. To make it easy to keep track of everyone, please only post on this note. If you email me, message me or contact me in any other way, I will send you a response requesting that you post to this note.

The deadline to enter is December 22nd at Midnight PST. On December 23rd, I will randomly select one person who has posted on this note and announce the winner!

What You Win - 8x10" Commissioned Painting

I will paint an 8x10" commissioned painting for the person that wins! This will be absolutely free, no shipping costs, no! The painting will be painted in watercolor and ink. Please have an idea of what my style is before entering this giveaway. I paint fantasy women, usually fairies, mermaids, witches, vampires, steampunks, etc... I don't feel comfortable doing exact portraits of someone, but can make the figure resemble someone by choosing the correct skin color, eye color, hair color, etc...

Please also keep in mind the size of the painting when thinking about what you'd like me to paint. I can usually fit in one figure and one creature/animal or several creatures/animals if they're smaller. I will talk more to the winner about the commission process, but to get a general idea, you can view the description on my Custom Paintings here.

I will begin work on the winner's commissioned painting at the beginning of January. It usually takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months for me to finish a commission. Please keep in mind that I retain all rights to the commissioned painting, including reproduction rights.

Thank you to everyone who enters! I look forward to reading about your traditions. =) If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me! =)

I also wanted to let you all know that I have released my Angelique products on Etsy and eBay! She is available on ACEO, 5x7 and 8x10 prints, stickers, magnets, buttons, pocket mirrors, bookmarks and printable coloring pages! I hope that you all enjoy her!

Heaven and Earth Designs (HAED) has released three new images of mine as cross stitch designs! They are three of my holiday images: Neva, Shanna and Elana. And the fantastic news is...they are currently 20% off! Make sure to buy them quickly to get the discount!

Belle Line Art - Candy Cane Witch

I just wanted to share with you all the next painting that I'm going to be working on. I have named her Belle which was suggested by Kristin Palmer. I thought the name suited her perfectly! Kristin will win a 5x7" print of the finished piece. I have these naming contests for all of my pieces, so make sure to follow me on Facebook to participate!

I just wrapped up the final linework on Belle. This linework is transferred onto my watercolor paper to create the finished painting. Hopefully I will finish her the week before Christmas. I'll make sure to keep you all updated!

I may be kind of quiet the next week or so! I have family coming into town which I'm so excited about! It's also Christmas time which is always hectic...lots of orders and lots of things to do...buying gifts, wrapping presents, parties, etc...! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!
